I spent four years in audit, three as a trainee, one as a supervisor. And for all four
of them, the same problem followed me around: getting documents from clients.
The RFI tracker was always stale. Files arrived over WhatsApp, email, and sometimes a
memory stick. Before every client meeting, someone had to chase the team to update the
list and someone usually forgot. Then you'd sit in the meeting, reading down the
tracker, and the client would say: "But we sent you that already."
They usually had.
Querri is what I wished existed back then. Your client gets a secure link — no account,
no password, nothing to figure out. They upload, the request updates itself, and your
whole team sees the real status of every engagement, all the time. The reminders do the
chasing, and the audit trail remembers everything, so nobody has to.
I built it from both sides of the problem, the trainee doing the chasing, and the
supervisor babysitting the tracker.
